There are hundreds of refund points across Victoria, so look out for your local. The network has more than 600 refund points.

1. The VicReturn 'CDS Vic Biggest Fan' Competition (Competition) is conducted by VicReturn Limited ABN 54 643 014 895 of Level 15, 575 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (VicReturn) as Scheme Coordinator of VicReturn’s Container Deposit Scheme (Scheme).
2. The Competition commences at 9am (AEDT) on 1 November 2025 and closes at 11.59pm (AEDT) on 30 November 2025 (Competition Period).
3. Entry is open to Australian residents who:

4. To enter, an Eligible Entrant must, at any time before the end of the Competition Period:

5. While there is no limit to the maximum number of times a person can enter the Competition, only one Eligible Entry per person will be considered for judging under clauses 9, 11 and 18 below.

7. Eligible Entries will be judged on creativity, enthusiasm, the best representation of the Scheme.
8. Entries will be judged by a panel of 5 CDS Vic staff (comprising staff from VicReturn and CDS Vic’s Network Operators) at 11.59am on 3 December 2025 at Level 15, 575 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (Judging Panel).
9. The Eligible Entry that is judged by the Judging Panel as being most creative, enthusiastic, and best representation of the Scheme, will be deemed the winner (Winner).

11. The Eligible Entry that is judged by the Judging Panel as being the second most creative, second most enthusiastic, and second-best representation of the Scheme (Runner Up) will receive:

12. Eligible Entrants are not required to be present at judging to be eligible to win a Prize.
Announcing the winner
13. VicReturn will take reasonable steps to notify the Winner and Runner Up directly by private message within 2 business days of judging.
14. The name of the Winners and Runner Up will be announced on the CDS Vic website cdsvic.org.au on 8 December 2025, provided the Winner and Runner up have been notified by private message and then acknowledge and accept these terms in writing within 2 business days of being contacted by email and/or phone.
Claiming the prize
15. The Winner, Runner Up or Reserve Winner under clause 18 (Prize Recipient) must each claim their Prize by 11.59pm (AEDT) by 11 February 2026 by confirming receipt of the notification by return email.
16. As a condition of claiming, each Prize Recipient must, or if the Prize Recipient is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian of the Prize Recipient must:

Reserve Winners
18. If the Prize is not claimed by 11.59am by 8 December 2025 as required by clauses 15 and 16, the Winner or Runner up will be taken to have forfeited the Prize and the Prize may be awarded to a reserve winner determined at the time the entries are judged (Reserve Winner).
19. VicReturn will notify that Reserve Winner private message, and then later by email and/or phone within 7 days of the Prize being awarded to them, and VicReturn will publish the Reserve Winner's details in the manner described in clause 14.
20. The first Reserve Winner must claim the Prize within 14 days and comply with the conditions in clause 16.
21. If the first Reserve Winner does not claim the Prize within 14 days, the next Reserve Winner will be awarded the Prize in accordance with the process set out in clause 16, and the process will be repeated until the Prize has been claimed.
Resolving disputes
22. Complaints regarding the Competition may be submitted by:
23. If there is a dispute concerning the complaint, the decision of VicReturn is final and binding, and no further correspondence will be entered into.
General
24. VicReturn acknowledges that this Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed administered by or associated with Meta or Tiktok.

26. Should they be a Winner, Eligible Entrants consent to publication of their name in accordance with these terms.
27. Any entry not complying with these terms is invalid. Errors and omissions may be accepted at VicReturn's discretion.
28. VicReturn’s decision is final in relation to all aspects of this Competition and no correspondence will be entered into in that respect.
29. Beneficiaries of the Prize accept the Prize ‘as is’ and acknowledge that VicReturn accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from their Prize. Beneficiaries of the Prize should seek advice from the Australian Tax Office or their own taxation adviser or independent financial adviser.
30. If a prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable for reasons beyond VicReturn's reasonable control, and VicReturn and the Winner are unable to reach agreement regarding replacement of that prize (or part of that prize), VicReturn may substitute alternative goods or services of equal or higher value, subject to any regulatory requirements.
31. VicReturn reserves the right, at any time, in its sole discretion, to verify the validity of entries and Eligible Entrants (including an Eligible Entrant’s identity, age, place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Eligible Entrant whom VicReturn has reason to believe has breached any of these terms, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Competition. VicReturn's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
32. If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned (including, but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of VicReturn which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition), VicReturn may, subject to the approval of all relevant regulatory authorities, take any action that may be available including cancelling, terminating, modifying or suspending the Competition.
33. Failure by VicReturn to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
34. Nothing in these terms limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the states and territories of Australia (Non-Excludable Guarantees).
35. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, VicReturn and its related entities (including its respective directors, officers, employees and agents) are not responsible for and exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
36. All entries become the sole property of VicReturn. VicReturn collects your personal information so that it may process your entry, administer this Competition and contact you regarding information on products or services that may be of interest to you
