Refund point types

With different types of container refund points, you want to find the most convenient one for you. Typical container refund points include:

Reverse vending machines (RVMs)

Insert eligible containers into the machine, where containers are scanned and verified. Please note lids are encouraged.

Depots

Walk-in or drive-through to get your containers counted and refunded on the spot. Best for large loads.

Over-the-counter (OTC)

In some areas small businesses or organisations provide an over-the-counter service, essentially working like a mini depot.
