CDS Vic provides a 10 cent refund for every eligible drink container returned. Each bottle, can and carton that you return helps to divert valuable containers from landfill.
There are hundreds of refund points across Victoria, so look out for your local. The network has more than 600 refund points.

Unlike fairy tales, real magic happens when you return your empty drink containers and they’re made into something new.
Zoos Victoria is deeply committed to fighting extinction, including the decline of species like the Southern Giant Burrowing Frog. With almost three billion drink containers consumed in Victoria each year, too many end up polluting waterways, wetlands and bushland that frogs depend on to survive.
By working together, we are hoping to empower you to take simple, rewarding actions that reduce waste, restore habitats and help fund crucial conservation efforts.
How recycling helps frogs
You receive a 10-cent refund for every eligible drink container you return at refund points across the state. These refunds can be donated directly to Zoos Victoria to support frog conservation, and those small amounts add up quickly.
Your efforts can help fund habitat restoration, breeding programs and research that protects these threatened species before it’s too late.
