CDS Vic calls on young Victorians to share their 'Message in a bottle' for new installation at Scienceworks.

To celebrate the upcoming first anniversary of the scheme's launch, CDS Vic will launch an interactive installation at Scienceworks to educate young Victorians about recycling.

Victorian primary school students are being invited to share why recycling is important to them through a digital portal, from now until 4 October. Messages will form part of the installation.

Primary school kids, submit your message here

If you are a primary school student in Victoria, your message about Why is recycling important to you? can be part of the installation at Scienceworks that will be live from 1 November 2024 until 27 January 2025.

What is the installation about?

Message in a Bottle will showcase the process of recycling, and what happens to plastic bottles (PET). When visiting the installation, students will also have the opportunity to return their own containers at the Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) at the Scienceworks carpark. Find out what's eligible.
