To celebrate the upcoming first anniversary of the scheme's launch, CDS Vic will launch an interactive installation at Scienceworks to educate young Victorians about recycling.
Victorian primary school students are being invited to share why recycling is important to them through a digital portal, from now until 20 September. Messages will form part of the installation.
If you are a primary school student in Victoria, your message can be part of the installation at Scienceworks that will be live from 1 November 2024 until 27 January 2025.
Tell us in 20 words or less Why is recycling important to you? by completing the form through the portal below.
Message in a Bottle will showcase the process of recycling, and what happens to plastic bottles (PET). When visiting the installation, students will also have the opportunity to return their own containers at the Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) at the Scienceworks carpark. Find out what's eligible.
For teachers and educators, we've developed classroom resources to help students learn more about recycling and CDS Vic, which are available in the portal.
