We’re excited to announce a partnership between Scouts Victoria and CDS Vic, designed to reward Scouts and Scout Groups for their commitment to container recycling.

Since the launch of CDS Vic in November 2023, Scouts across the state have embraced the opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment.

To celebrate their hard work, we’ve introduced the new CDS Vic Scouts badge – a symbol of achievement for those Scouts who have become true “Recycling Rockstars” and “Container Champions.”

As part of this partnership, we’ve launched two exciting competitions to encourage Scouts to ramp up their recycling efforts even more.

Competition details

Container Saver Competition

From 1 October to 30 November, the three Scout Groups that receive the highest number of container donations will win Anaconda vouchers!

Prizes:

  • First place - $2,500 voucher
  • Second place - $1,500 voucher
  • Third place - $750 voucher

Get your containers in and start collecting to support your Group and the planet.

Jamboree Champions Competition

The three individual Scouts who return the most containers between 1 October and 30 November will win fully funded travel and attendance to the Australian Scout Jamboree in Maryborough, Queensland, in January 2025. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to be rewarded for your recycling efforts!

Get Involved

Scouts, it's time to step up, get recycling, and make a difference! Whether you’re aiming for the badge, the vouchers, or the Jamboree trip, your efforts will help protect the environment and support your community. Together, we can become recycling champions.
