CDS Vic provides a 10 cent refund for every eligible drink container returned. Each bottle, can and carton that you return helps to divert valuable containers from landfill.
There are hundreds of refund points across Victoria, so look out for your local. The network has more than 600 refund points.

Your empties, full tummies: Our partnership with Foodbank Victoria
Until 16 October, Foodbank Victoria is our statewide donation partner. We’re asking Victorians to donate their refunds so they can continue their vital work supporting people doing it tough. Foodbank feed 76,000 people in our state every day, both directly and through their charity partners. Every 5 containers returned means 1 meal created, so your donation can make a real difference.
So far, Victorians have donated more than $20,000 to Foodbank through CDS Vic, making more than 40,000 meals.
How can I get involved?
It’s easy, and it’s so appreciated. Throughout the campaign period, choose to donate your refund when you return your containers. You can either select Foodbank Victoria in your CDS Vic app, choose it on the RVM screen, or ask the team at your depot or over-the-counter refund point.
What else can I do?
Well, if you’re feeling particularly generous, you could collect eligible containers at work, from friends and family, or at your sports club or community group. The more containers donated to Foodbank, the more meals created.
